Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

In 2090, the world’s conflicts are fought with massive war machines known as Wanzers. Huffman Island, the only island where you can find the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) Huffman Island is only place where both the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and Unified Continental States are allowed to live together. The land boundary between The United Continental States (U.C.S.) and Canada is an area of intense tension.

An O.C.U. reconnaissance platoon under the command of Captain Royd Clive has been assigned to look into a U.C.S. munitions plant. The U.C.S. attack them. Wanzers, triggering a series of incidents that plunge all of the island into conflict. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

Royd has been discharged from his army service, and sets off to investigate what transpired to Karen. He is closer to truth, as do the people responsible.

With dozens of characters to meet, its mature story with non-Manichean heroes, Front Mission is the most popular of the tactical Japanese RPG style, and is now being made widely available.
